I don't appreciate Mr Toomey misrepresenting Government spending to make his point about the "tough cuts" that will kick the very people who've been hurt by congress' recklessness in the teeth. But no doubt, using the charts prepared by the conservative advocacy group Peter G. Peterson foundation which completely skips the key years of 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 and shows spending for 2010 (which is actually down from 2009-Bush's last budget). Mr Toomey lied to us with those charts.
