What a genius -- both inner and outer -- Adi Sankaracharya was! Such a beautiful verse. Drifts me into my childhood with my mother singing this to me. The sonority of the all his verses has a profound effect on me. Thanks man!

If you mean G. V. Iyer's, then I have my own copy. Subbiramireddy's version (I saw it in 80s when I was very young) was to me less impressive, but my friends find it otherwise. For me Sarvadhaman's portrayal of Adi Sankara was sublime. Kudos to the G. V. Iyer.
