I did get some stuff out but now my laptop is worse in games... Maybe because i didn't add new therm paste? or is it possible to just use the same stuff that was already there?
I am really technologically inept and thought that my overheating laptop would need to be replaced. After watching your video, I did it myself and fixed the problem. Thank you SO MUCH for your help! Much appreciated :)
thx very much, but if u want to teach how to prevent overheating, could be a nice idea to say also to change the thermal grease once you have removed the heatsink.

Just because it's called a laptop don't mean it's ok on your lap, you need to keep air circulating underneath.
If you strip a laptop down use a nonmagnetic screw driver, & keep earthing yourself.

This is a very helpful video however remember to remove your battery as well as unplugging it as well for safety reasons.

hey, i have an acer aspire 5315 and i have a cool usb cooling fan tray witch works better than nothing but the laptop still shuts off dude to heat
