@jamaulbrown Perhaps as a trigger, but the spot where the dive took place was when support in the 14 month long channel cracked. At that point just about anything negative that took prices down a bit would have taken things down. Just MHO.
Thank you for your video. Good question. I looked at s&p charts on monthly period. It seems we recently broke off 100 days EMA. Looking at that chart one may think it has some room to run. I'm new to trading. I was wondering if you give any significance to monthly charts.
@worldofpwnage I use the freestockcharts(dot)com for the charts themselves. The lines are drawn using techniques found in John MaGee's "Technical Analysis of Stock Trends". It seems fewer and fewer people are willing to do this kind charting and rely more and more on algorithmic signals that really miss the big picture. Thanks - tell your friends.
