oh wow! i hope someday i can become at least half as good as he is! hmmm, that's pretty good, i guess. isn't he tired? i mean, he has to stand up and hold a clarinet and at the same time blow!
@angelstrudel101 its actually not that difficult... that's really underestimating someone's musical talent when you're concerned about whether or not they're tired.
@pimptacioussness You wonder how you memorize partitions? Easy get a metronome... Start at the lowest beat... practice every line of the partition 5 times perfectly.... then make the metronome 1 beat per minute faster... repeat for each line of the partition... until you get fairly faster than the beat the partition should be played with... (and then you're head will be ticking like a metronome) and you've got it memorized =) after god knows how many hours of playing.
Now that you mention it, he does have it memorized. I didn't notice before. xD
But yeah... I can't imagine memorizing this. This is only the second movement. The first is just as long. Memorizing a ten minute piece? Unfathomable. At least for me. :P
Either he's a clarinetist or musician born again or he's imitating the style of those around him. I don't see how he can have enough life experiences to even portray those emotions. I refuse to believe he has some superior consciousness.
This is definitely imitation of the pros, asians are known for seeing how something is done and perfecting it in little time. They've done this over the years with areas like car manufacturing (germans), hand crafted sweets (french), and opera (italians). There was this asian woman who was a beautiful english singer but didn't speak a word of it, it was looked at, examined, and re-portrayed.
lol you look so young you dont look 11...

This is great but I think the way you played it, you've made it feel more 6/8 rather than 3/4 - but still, amazing :)

i don't see how his life experience is relevant. all musicians learn through imitation. he's done a good job. usually goes like this:
-practice hard to try to sound like someone else
-get really good
-eventually create your own sound
-eventually younger musicians will try to sound like you
and so on....
