  • solo=madflow......

  • another dope producer Illskilz aka beatsnrhyms

  • this track is so solid almost perfect, the way he connects with the music is very special. You just have to move to this track, love your stuff m-phazes

  • I fucking love aussi hiphop, i can listen to this shit all day

  • its not about east or west, its about niggaz and bitches, power and money, riderz and punks, which side are u on?...... its not about fame or fortune, its about beats and bass, production and skill, marketing and promotion. m-phazes has produced some absolute tunes, check out pharoahe monch's album "W.A.R (We are renegades) for m-phazes productions. this i have to say, im not into!!

  • Best track on the album!

  • I listen to a lot of different hip-hop...from OFWGKTA to Saigon to Das Racist; but this Aussie shit has got a nice feel to it...I'm diggin it!!

  • im sorry haters this dude is cold. he needs to come to the states and make it big because he's got the attitude, voice and talent.

  • @kcwill913 yeah man, cos all talented aussies need to go to USA to make it? I saw him at Sprung festival yesterday and alot of people came running into the mosh as soon as he came on. i think hes pretty big here in Australia...

  • So sick of every single oz hip hop track having the exact same back and forth discussion comparing oz hip hop to American. please, think of something new to say, or just stick to something relevant to the song.

I am American and I think what it is is that good hip hop in Australia is a lot more well known where as in the states you have to go underground to get anything with some soul.

That being said, M-Phazes kills it every time and Solo always comes out with some real emotion. love it!

  • @TsukiMagick Well said man, I'm Aussie but I just love dope hiphop, I don't care what country it comes from.

What sort of a hiphop fan would I be to turn my nose up at Saigon, Brother Ali, Talib Kweli etc etc just because they aren't Aussie? lol some people are crazy.

BTW Solo just got tagged by Eso in the latest rappertag video, so keep your eye out for Solo's vid soon. Eso's was pretty good, worth checkin out.

  • /watch?v=coAzlZvYQuE

check my list of the best beats of M-phazes..

    on my profile

  • Awesome..... LooooVE IT!!!

  • this is horrorshow right?

  • @deadhomies079

M-Phazes on production with Solo (the emcee from Horrorshow) on the rhymes. Not technically Horrorshow since Horrorshow always has Adit on production.

  • @HipHopAus thanks mate

  • Damn. At 58 seconds it really drops. Dude is tight.

  • 9th would be proud... i love u m phazes!

  • I like how this song has inspired a lot of passion for OZ hiphop. I relate to our raps best cos they r here, going thru the same things we r and it has that familiar sound

Why are we yankee bashing here, gangsta rap aside(but i dont mind some of that), i really like US hiphop, try say these guys r bad artists - lupe fiasco, nieve n cook, the roots, j5, mos def and even bliss n eso, bliss is US born

i hate the US hiphop that's in and influences ours and there singles charts

  • anyone who was a head in sydney early 00's can relate to solo's 1st verse.shits on point

  • Solo is the best Rapper.

If you haven't already check out 'The Grey Space' and 'Inside Story'

  • yeah raised on the gold coast! : )

  • your all fools shut the fuck up

  • they make the party people say "good gracious"

this is the best shit in the world, let me tell you.

  • DOPE... much love from the U.S

  • he's australian? sounds like american to me...

  • this sounds more like spit syndicate

  • Comment removed

  • This track gives me goosebumps. M Phazes and Solo are fuckin amazing.

  • Hell yeah, i agree with most of the comments in here. Love from norway! But im a fan of all m-phazes work, especially the work he did with supastition. Tracks like Dont stop and Step it up makes me proud of being human, no lie! Keep up the good work mark!

  • i think this is one of the greatest songs in aussie hiphop history haha

    fuckin love it

  • Best Track ever i get goose bumps when i listen to this.

  • YYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS ,MY FRIENDS YEEES yeeeessss!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • holy moly... can you say, WOW

  • dope track

  • its all about personal preference. id prefer to listen to some dope aussie hip hop than US hip hop. mainly because i dont know any good US hip hop artists than the mainstream ones who are all shit but if you listen to mainstream aussie hip hops its pretty much exactly the same

  • This is an incredible song. Maybe challenges that "Rock On" track by Pumpkinhead on the whole "do music for the love" theme in terms of songs.

  • It aint about where your from its about where your at,who cares about the flag, NEW MIC ORDER is the flag you should fly,it sounds more light hearted than Downsyde anyway.

  • good beat, check out my channel too, peace too all real hiphop

  • Damn, this is kind of an epic track.

  • great track

  • once again kid..love me some aussie tracks ;0)

  • I didn't even read all of that long argument, but I'll say this. American hip-hop is not about ass and tits and money, that's American Rap. True heads make the differentiation.

  • What's with the US bashing guys? Not to be a moral fag or anything but it's common sense that all mainstream music is watered down. Turn on your aussie radios and tell me if this song gets played on a station.

  • @Kaninskavich I agree somewhat, but funnily enough M-Phazes and Solo ARE actually two of the more "commercially" known artists in australia, compared to most underground hip hop here these guys are mainstream. I get what you're saying though, and it's a good point.

  • @HipHopAus yeh i agree with the point and that could be due to the fact that in australia we are fucking BLESSED to have a national radio station that does SO SO MUCH to support local music coming up and give good artists the chance to go mainstream

also could be that the kind of hip hop flava that is so huge in australia right now isnt as popular in the us i have no idea why but it's almost like the golden era hit australia 20 years later

... im so glad it did :D

  • @Kaninskavich triple j about half hour ago

  • @Powdes

Ok I get it haha. Hip Hop has been in the US longer though and commercialism has taken its toll on our society. We have kids trying to be like the wack rappers on TV instead of being true to themselves and the Hip Hop culture.

  • @Kaninskavich they are played on local? the radio station triple j

  • @Kaninskavich This song gets thrashed in melbourne bro its mad...Triple J brother!

  • @Kaninskavich triple j played this album alot

  • @Kaninskavich

m -phazes gets played on JJJ a fair bit

  • @Kaninskavich

They are just making good music, with their opinion, and something to think about.

Usually the bashing is not ment for the people of the US, more to their government. Since 70% of the world population has hatred and enough about all the warfare of the US, for personal gain of a few compagnies.

The world is beginning to get fed up with "preemptive warfare"(Wich by US constitution is illigal, if not approved first by your senate (Wich is wasn't ).We just want US PEOPLE to wake up

  • @Eddybeats I disagree. I think it's exactly what HipHopAus said. Most Aussies have only been exposed to mainstream American rap. Otherwise they wouldn't say it is full of ass, tits money and shooting.

Ask one of them who Mos Def is and they'll stare at you with a blank face. lol They wouldn't know hiphop if it smacked em in the face.

Don't get me wrong, I'm Aussie and I love Aussie rap, but the Aussie rap fanboys wanna compare M-Phazes to Lil Wayne. Doesn't work like that.

  • @Kaninskavich yeah if you tune into triple j in aus they play quite a lot of m-phazes

  • thanx for all the music.

  • Great beat and Solo delivers the goods like usual.

Mark and Nick, Love ya work boys. ;)

  • solo has my favourite australian hip-hop voice followed by the emcee from butterfingers or suffa of hilltop hoods.

  • This is real shit. Theres jus sumthin bout aussie hip hop that sounds smoother and better than yankee shit. Maybe its cos its more about real life issues rather than fuckin bitches and wastin money. Thoughts anyone?

  • @Infamous4215 I don't think it has anything to do with being australian or american, there's plenty of good american hip hop (and a fair bit of wack australian hip hop, and vice versa)

The quality of music has nothing to do with the country it's made in..Not trying to preach but this is an attitude i come across often and it's really just generalising as a result of only being exposed to shitty commercial music and making blanket statements based on that... Dope and wack are universal.

  • @Infamous4215 agreed

  • @Infamous4215

    1) Hip hop is distinctly, an American art form. So why hate on American's, but love an art form they created?

    2) Stop listening to weak artists. Instead of listening to 50 Cent or Lil Wayne and assuming that is what all American hip hop is about, why not go listen to Talib Kweli, Five Deez, Madlib etc?

    3) This dude has smooth beats. I dig the track.

  • @Infamous4215 idk about you but the only difference i see between the 2 is i can relate to one..

  • @Infamous4215

i agree man, aussie hip hop you can relate to, and has meaning in its lyrics, as you said the majority of american hip hop is full of ass, tits, money, shootings and all the other shit. apart from the odd artist like eminem who also sings about life situations etc.

  • @pete9liverpool you're just generalising though. you're basing your opinion on listening to very little u.s. hip hop aside from mainstream bullshit which is bound to lack any real lyrical worth. i personally never hear any hip hop (u.s. or otherwise) about sex/money etc. because i don't listen to the radio at all and have no idea who any of the popular u.s. rappers are because im guessing they're all shit. so yeah the majority of MAINSTREAM HIP HOP IN GENERAL is shit, nationality is irrelevant

  • @HipHopAus those words could not be put in any better form, good point HipHopAus. I agree with you, however i listen to select few Aussie hip hop, I kinda hate how everyone jumped on the Hilltop Hoods bandwagon, Mantra is one of my fav aussie emcees, but the majority of stuff I listen to is American Hip Hop (Elzhi, D-Block, CNN, J Dilla, Gang Starr, Fashawn etc.)

  • @HipHopAus

you can take japanese hiphop for example, take a so called 'cool gangsta' track and one about ... don't know, real life??? I don't know what to call it, but anyway, you won't (most likely) understand a single word, but you can feel the difference

  • @HipHopAus "so yeah the majority of MAINSTREAM HIP HOP IN GENERAL is shit, nationality is irrelevant" - I don't agree to yo in this point: OZ mainstream Hip-Hop is totally kicking ass (Hilltop Hoods, Bliss N Eso....) and best music I've ever heard. So is Swiss Hip-Hop. ;) But American (as well as German and others) mainstream sht (exception: Eminem and some other FEW guys) is craap!

  • @HipHopAus Exactly. If you know what to look for then their is good hip-hop in every country. In America you have good artists like Mos Def, Eminem, M.O.P. Black Thought, etc. But alongside that you also have people like Kanye West who claim that they still make hip-hop music. In the UK we have posers such as Chipmunk but we also have real rappers like Task Force, Phi-Life Cypher, Braintax and Jehst to name but a few. But at the end of the day, good music is in the ears of it's listeners.

    Peace.

  • @pete9liverpool immortal technique, atmosphere, raekwon, black milk, mos def, talib kweli, the roots, KRS-One, Nas, anyone on StonesThrow... need i go on?

sure there is a whole mess of wack shit coming out of the US but same goes here it's just because we are FROM australia of course it's easier to find the good stuff when it's in your own backyard

    keep DITC australia

    peace

  • @Infamous4215 on the underground side its the same whole same in america, Great artists don't get radio play where i'm from in Canada. You gotta dig to find them. I guess 3/4 of music on radio is wack worldwide.

  • @alldayallnight89 sadly true...

  • @Infamous4215

The USof-freakingA!! is where it all originated.. so pay your respects. But good music is good music, so who really cares.

  • @Infamous4215 i agree i dont want to listen to shit about slappin bitches driving fast cars and shooting people i wanna hear about real life not the angry shit these U.S artists make up. it has no relevance to anything in real life. People can relate to aussie hip hop more

  • @Infamous4215 Not really. There're alot of "yankee" hiphop that isn'tabout fucking bitches and wasting money. Maybe you only know about certain yankee rappers. With that being said, it's not about what you say, it's about how you say it.A rapper could rap about poverty, but sounds terrible because he isn't very skilled.

  • sick beats sick lyrics
