You had a discussion on yor site about the problematic replication of parts like the stepper motor. The wiring and magnets and so on, forget about it....how about a pneumatic stepper motor. I was not sure but it turns out such a thing exist, useful in MRI scanners.
where can I get the circuitboards needed? Do I have to built them? can I purchase them? where? ... and what kind of motors are those?

Can the Reprap Mendel run on Windows XP? Using the reprap software?
I have a Laser Cut Mendel from Techzone and I cannot seem to get it working.
I have Gen 3 boards, I can move the axis and extrude in Repsnapper but it will not print. Can you help me? glimco@telus.net

@OleGlimm The RepRap software should work with Windows XP. If you are having problems, take a look at the forums: forums.reprap.org
