  • Nice machine.

  • Pml!!!! 65000 views are you kidding?! Who would've thought that? Random as, just because your Dad decided to video it. Coooool.

  • thanks for your comment , yes i rederected the exhaust on the helpers side cause it was firing in his face lol , not nice , and yes we always wear hearing protection yah only get one set of ears , thanks again .

  • Very nice! McCulloch made earth drills over 50 years ago for their 2-man saws. The Husqvarna 395XP is an excellent saw in its own right. It sure is a heavy weight, which in this application is a good one. Good thing that the guys have got their "ears" on. Does the man on the helper end have any hearing left? I would think that an exhaust header pointing away from the crew might make their work day a bit more pleasant. Cheers!

  • thanks steve , yes u can buy flighting in peices and weld them on a shaft , then a base and cutter teeth yes

  • Thats a great build, I love home engineered stuff. How did you go about making the auger?

  • if u could get me some more info on the gear box woud be great thanks ........:)

  • @icelander1970 ok mate i try do another video on it just the gearbox

  • just wondering where u got the gear box

  • @icelander1970 best to my knowledge its a ( AS motor ) gearbox dont think they make them anymore , brought it second hand

  • Good solution goes as storm

  • Great auger! That thing does some serious digging! check out our manual Augers and our wide range of fencing tools and equipment too!

  • @StrainriteFencing yer my fencing partner and i smoked everyone at the fielding comp for digging our holes in that stoney ground

  • Cuz, Its Taz, sell us the Hole Borer, we need one for the fences we doing up here in Auckland lol and that one looks MEAN!!!

  • how many acres go you have

  • I LOVE what you guys have done can you please tell where to get a hold of that husky power head i live in calgary and searched online without any luck.Good job didnt think a 95cc could do that.

  • @TheNeoSwoosh , Its a 395 husky chainsaw umm not shure where to source one from in your part of the world . Sorry . Yes 95cc has heaps of power have another gearbox also that is slightly higher geared and is a one man borer .Using a Mate gearbox .

  • I hope they hit oil!!! We need it.

  • that job looks like it sucks ass

  • only way to do post holes is with a standing skid steer mounted auger. Nothing will make a couple of grown men cry faster than a two man auger.

  • yep i agree but its not always a viable option , and the fencing competions we go in you have to use hand tools or equipment u can carry , also we do alot of hill country where machines such as a bobcat , digger , can not access . . Thanks for watching and your comment .

The gearbox cost me $100 plus about $100 to build mount for Husky motor to fit already had motor and augers so not that expensive .

  • That is an awesome view, down the hill,

past the second hole. Looks like it would

be one heck of a drop all of a sudden.

  • How deep do the Post have to be!!!!

  • yer the strainers and big angles need to be about 1300 mm deep or 1.3 meters and have foots on them .

  • thanks for yiour comment " makattak88 " i looked at the auger you talked about and yes i like it and wanta know more , also why are all your comments removed from that video ?

  • You don't need to be BIG and Strong to use the "Easy Hold Auger" It has made the old auger OBSOLETE! One man can push through ANY terrain ANY time of the season!! Root, Rocks whatever! Check it out on YOU TUBE: "Easy Hold Auger"

  • oh yes these two power lfters go fencers are very strong

  • Those dudes are massive, they so strong.
