well, the site itself doesn't carry viruses, however, if your not careful, the stuff you download from Filefront may indeed be a trojan horse desguised as a patch or game or something, or it may be an actual game or patch or what have you, but a virus latched itself to the file, probably because the person who uploaded that particular file had a virus and that virus infected their files.

Hey what do i open it with winrar? or Halo?

well with winrar, you have to right click on the mod, then click extract to specified folder. Then navigate your way to the halo trial maps folder and extract it there. When that is done, go to the halo trial maps folder and rename bloodgulch as bloodgulch2. Then rename the modded map as bloodgulch. Then host a server.

Lol well as long as you dont hack my server im good :). The server is called !!!!WarGulch!!! so be sure to look for that. Just be sure to take out the mod before you play in my server (or any server for that matter) or else it'll just a little hard to play. and for the mod to work, you have to host the server.

by ce do you mean custom edition or combat evolved? If you're talking about Custom Edition, then all you have to do is put the map in the maps folder. Just go to Computer->Program Files->Microsoft Games->Halo Custom Edition->Maps. That's where you put the modded map. It's the same thing for Combat Evolved except you have to remove bloodgulch.map from the maps folder.

put the mod in your maps folder. go to start, my computer, Local Disk C, Program Files, microsoft games, halo trial, maps. In there you will see a map called bloodgulch.map. Rename that map as bloodgulch1.map. Then take the modded map and put it in that folder. Rename the modded map as bloodgulch.map. Then you must host a game in order to play the mod.

well alien gulch is working mod (i used it yesterday) and people joined my games fine, so the mod isnt the problem. Have you hosted games before?

and also, linksys is NOT the internet provider...that's just the router that gets the internet to your computer. An internet provider would be like Comcast, Roadrunner, Verizon Fios and Verizon DSL, Hughs Net, even dial up. I need to know ur provider in order to diagnose ur problems.

You have to extract the file. Get winrar, and then extract it onto the desktop. Then you have to put it in the halo maps folder. Go to start--> my computer--> Local Disk C--> program files --> microsoft games--> halo trial--> maps. Take the modded map and rename it bloodgulch.map. Then you must HOST, i repeat, HOST the game for the mod to take

effect. If you want, use the name !!!!WarGulch!!! That was the name of my server when i used to play halo trial. I dont play no mores cuz im too good XD
