When you tilt your head correctly it shouldnt be possible to get your head horizontal , the neck joint should lock and prevent you from doing this, this lock on the joint is what will prevent damage to the spine.
So then to know you are doing it correctly you should then have to get that last bit of turning action from twisting your abdominals and ribs and torso.
The neck twist should be bringing you to a bit over 45 degrees and the torso twist should bring you to the 90 degrees needed 4 neti
Im pretty sure thats the wrong way to tilt your head, far as i know you are supposed to tuck in your chin as you tilt your head, the way she is doing it here just looks like it would damage the neck joint after many years, the reason to tuck in chin is because that retracts the neck joint to stabalise before twist, im pretty sure she is extending the neck joint then twisting it which will be leaving it far weaker to stress and inviting it to pop or bend and weaken over time.
why would you want to do this? you never done it as a child and only just started doing this in the last 2 yrs or so. So im confused as t what and why you would do it
