  • Espetacular. A abertura japonesa é massa demais.

  • LOVE THIS OST^^ STREET FIGHTER NEVER DIES. IT IS ALWAYS ABLE TO BRING BACK MEMORIES^^ STAYING IN THE PAST, SOMETIMES, IS A GOOD REMEDY FOR THIS PRESENT LIFE^^

  • The second opening is better

  • This opening is too gay. Could look anything but Street Fighter, unless they wanted to exploit that boy+boy stuff.

  • 懐かしい!

  • gonna burn some muscle!

  • 0:38 is that Demetri from Darkstalkers?

  • that is THE HAPPIEIST IV EVER SEEN RYU

  • OH MAN THANKS FOR POSTING. One of my favourites when I was akdi cheers!

  • when i watch this i always ask myself this question.......where r they running to, how come they aint tired, when they get to there destination will they be disappointed that they dont have to run anymore, y do they look so happy to be running to nowhere, i wonder if they no that there fictional characters.

  • Ken, Ryu, get off that damn treadmill!

  • @LegionIscariot LOL!!!

  • I used to have a major crush on Ken,Ryu & Chun Li,serious stuff. Glad such series were part of my childhood.

  • Sorry guys, but I enjoy the English version's intro way more... The song here just kinda ruins it a bit... The English intro used scenes from the episodes, but its song was way better... It portrayed epic-ness.

  • @ChibiZone No doubt you're refering to the Animaze English Dub opening, not the ADV Films version which uses this song.

  • @David315842 I'm referring to the one that doesn't use this song. Look at gwave922's SF2v intro. That's the one I really like :3

  • @ChibiZone Both japanese intros were used in the ADV Films dub.

  • @ChibiZone nah, that instrumental track ruins the series, looks like you're going to see blood and guts and nothing else, but the series goes beyond than fights only. The whole series prove that, but especially the first episodes when they've decided to travel around the world and when Ryuu is learning the Hadou.

  • whats the tittle of oroginal song?

  • @gilo65 Kaze Fuiteru.

  • @David315842

    thanks bro

  • @gilo65 You're welcome. The artist who performed this song by the way is Yuki Kuroda.

  • this is the best op out of the two,and the USA version was bullshit.the jap ops always get changed when they hit the USA, take DBZ,YU YU HAKUSHO OR SAMURAI X FOR EXAMPLE, they were HORSE SHIT PPL,they were either rock n'roll or metal.

  • @gamer42399 The YuYu Hakusho opening was a dubbed version of the Japanese opening (and dubbed dang well, IMO), I dunno what you are saying about that.

  • @gamer42399 The ADV Films dub used the original Japanese songs, but it was only avaliable on video in the UK in the late 90's

  • Brings back memories. My little sister just got married a week ago and when we were younger I use to buy the sub title tapes of street fighter and we use to sing this intro song before we watched it. We spontaneously sang a small part of this song at her wedding in front of everyone which nobody had a clue to what we were singing lolol Will be something people will remember for sure especially being that we are afro american lol

  • That sweet voice...(*_*)

  • ryu&ken running like 2 slow motion life guard's

  • @gamer42399 *cringes* you were close by comparing it to the beach, Rocky 3 with Apollo and Rocky.

  • this opening was about the only good thing about this series

i know. i bought and watched all of it.

  • @galacticgufus Actually this series was awesome, start to finish. The japanese opening is one of the best anime openings ever though, i agree.

  • Haha...i remember this way back when circa 2000. Ryu and Ken looks like Wham! rejects. hahaha.

  • nice work. bring back memories

  • Great video is awesome

  • Cool !!!! ;D

  • @Kaoshia super gay. american op > this

  • @TsunamiTD The american opening is too bad to be described in the short space youtube provides.

  • @Sener Are you fucking high? The American opening is actually really badass, lmao go look at that video and see the comments. I'm sorry but this opening is just not cool.

  • @charles125 No, the american opening is the lamest attempt at being cool a cartoon has ever made. It tries so desperately to be cool by having rock music, a beat and a stupid voice shouting "STREET FIGHTA!", while showing as much footage from the show as possible. THIS opening has exclusive footage that never appears on the show and features a song that's actually awesome even if it wasn't from Street fighter.

  • @Sener Except it wasn't lame, yes they included all those elements. But it wasn't corny, DBZ had rock music in both the American and Canadian versions and they both yelled "DRAGON BALL Z" and that was sick. What's wrong with showing footage FROM THE SHOW? Every show does that. This song is okay but sorry the other one suits it better, most would agree just look.

  • @charles125 I don't think most would agree. The problem with showing footage from the show is that the show itself had such a low budget that they re-used footage within the episodes over and over again. By the time you get to the last episode you've already seen the exact same animation of ryu powering up for th emillionth time.

It's all opinions anyway. I'm into the asian pop song, you're more into rock stuff.

  • @Sener Well ten that's a problem with the show, the opening showed some sick fights. It's not really any issue, and I like the pop songs. Evangelion for example had an awesome pop song.

  • @charles125 Just American versions do that, showing footage of different episodes. Anime creates whole different sequences for their OPs and EDS. American track just tries to say "watch my rough series, you thug kid" it's the only purpose. The way how American companies ruin the things is well represented here: youtube.com/watch?v=xTndAepHpqA - I could like it but not near Street Fighter II V because not represent it at all.

  • @Sener I'd fully agree with you, dude! I've been looking for this intro as I love it ever since the old days.

After re-watching this, I went meh for the American intro. I just couldn't get it why people said it's cool.

  • @Sener The ADV Films dub of Street Fighter II V that was only avaliable in the UK on video, had retained the original opening and ending themes.
