  • i have something simmilar :) i think its slovenian copy its name is vector :) i couldnt find any history about it too :( i can send you pics and compare them.

  • I can chek it out on para2000,org my self. But there's no model I could find anywhere on the wing. No history about it either. Just russian serial number, year it's been made and "attention" label that says it should be towed or used to jumping out of planes with it. seller told me it's manufacturer is "Paraplan". I have heard about it, but still can't their contacts/web site.

  • Yep... the wing seen here is in the same boat... I've not found any info on it, but as it happens one of my spare (old) PG reserves is made by the same lot.. ;-)

  • Re-checked my wings and the sky angel i have is the paramotor version. Will be some time before i can test it, took a dive down the stairs and fractured my left wrist and shoulder and gave myself a severe concussion! Luckily, i didn't hurt my caged leg but i did sprain the other ankle so life has gone from difficult to near impossible! The nurses all remembered me though and agree that paragliding is more fun than stairs ;-)

  • ps much improved camera work and awsome control of such a tempremental wing, it certainly seems to work better in the air than on the ground, five times five stars!

  • Hi, just had another great part day flying, 2nd in a row at East Lomond in Fife, North wind soaring yesterday, and SW / West + thermal flying today :-)

BTY The wing is not in my opinion very temperamental, rather it's just that it does not recover......

  • ........ Ouch ..........!

  • I just bought a 1993 glider. Made in early paragliding style. Has no leading edge with hard parts as normal regular. Will it be enough to fly? I mean soaring.

  • Hard parts?

Almost anything can be soared in the 'right' conditions (enough wind!) I've even soared/thermaled a jump parachute!

If you let me know the make/model of glider I could look it up on Para2000 and make an informed comment...
