setting it to "40" is crazy!

the recommended value is like "8"

at least that is what I was told by a lot of PC geeks (maybe 40 works on the Mac, but on the PC, it crashes)

Yea I have a pc and it made it very fast but If I left the browser open for a little while with unused my computer would freeze up
