No he didn't..his voice was blended with Drew Seeleys. (The guy who actually went on the HSM tour) There was a lot of controversy about it so in Hairspray and in HSM2 it's all him. You can tell. There is a large difference in voices and his blended voice sounds much more like Drew Seeley's then it does himself. I've compared the voices. And you don't notice him hitting the high tenor notes at all this movie.
