I also enjoy watching her talk to him. Translating sales speech into plain English "Oh, that's nice, I don't actually give a shit about anything you're saying. I'm now going to regurgitate the sales pitch, shut the fuck up and listen."
why do they say heart rate should change with age - mine is still going to the same amounts as when I was 15 and I am 40. I so the same excercises and still measure it the same and it didn't change a bit.
IMO: At best A HRM can only guarantee that the heart is 'fitter' or healthier in its operation. Its benefit to you as your perform your activities is at best implied and you would need additional data to determine.
@foleybarbarian I'm not an expert, but I do up to 90% of my maximum heart rate (175bpm) during the peak time of interval training. It wouldn't work for long aerobic training as it's a bit high and may lead to a head ache.
I just ordered the F7. Really looking forward to using it.
As for the poster beneath me, yes they are expensive. But honestly, you do get what you pay for. All the people I've talked to in the gym swear by Polar, and I guarantee that 90% of the people I see with HRM has the name "Polar" on it.
I love my polar HR monitor- but seriously guys, I've never seen anyone with one of your HR monitors that costs $hundreds in the gym! You seriously need more mid-range $50-$150 monitors with more functionality. Once upon a time, everyone in my spin class had one- now nobody does.
Is low heart beat good?? DOC told me my blood rate was low because I play sports :(
