@z454 I'm using those medium gage coated d'addario strings. I've got light strings on my Martin, but I think that I gotta go medium there to....light just don't do the trick for this kinda work....ya gotta dig in a bit.

I got that guitar for $750 with a friggin' great case. It was either that or pay four grand for the martin, which is probably better, but how much better?

Hey Carlos, I don't know why I'm not signed in as Catherine Todd, but it's me... and you did a GREAT JOB! Can't wait to get back to the lake. I was there the day before the volcano and the hurricane hit, and spent a month getting over it in Panajachel. Hope everything was OK in San Marcos.
