Well it is a year later and what has happened to those folks who promised to be here for Susan. I am here and still loving her. She has now done something no other woman has ever done, she has another number one CD in the world in one year, not done before except the Beatles in the 60's, fans are here now and then, they are fickle, but Susan is a blessing to music and I will love her always.

They were surprised because they were assuming she was a bad singer because of her appearance. Gotta read between the lines. Even the compliments they gave her suggested this. To make it worse she said she's never been kissed. I don't believe that, but almost anyone who hears that would link her not being kissed to the way she looks.

Her first record "I Dreamed a Dream" went number one worldwide, in every country that sold it. It was just reported today that that one record earned Simon Cowell (who signed her to his label) over $40 million, which means she has earned a substantial amount of money (tens of millions, at least).
And yet she still lives in her old family home. She's living her dream :)

It's beginning to irritate me all the concentration on appearance, regardless of what one looks like considered beautiful or otherwise it does not matter. I think she has a wonderful face anyway, have you seen the adorable photos of her as a kid. I don't understand what you are asking me to think about. it's a given that chraacter should be above anything else. I said that people should accept people for who they are and enjoy them. There is nothing to prove and the over the top concentration about her appearance will eventually make her feel bad if it doesn't stop. Check the charts in your country, UK and Ireland; Isla's music will be in the top 10. She is so much better than Susan, plus, she has worked her way up the hard way, not like Susan who just sings one song and becomes some kind of one-hit wonder. Not fair, folks.
