this is true. people diss catholics all the tim on tv- talking about the priests as "pedophiles" and all that- and they NEVER GET IN TROUBLE. MAKE FUN OF BLACKS OR JEWS OR GAYS AND GET FIRED.
There is a LOT of fault in all churches because they are establishments created by man. However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to say whether or not there is something "beyond" us, and if there is it's far beyond our comprehension and cannot be "cook booked" into a religion. What matters is one's heart and compassion regardless whether one worships something or not.
This has nothing to do with what you're talking about but it's great that your a cubs fan! :)

I was a Born Again who turned Atheist and then turn Catholic.
I have to admit, turning Atheist helped clear a lot of confusion about the different churches out there.
