If only power companies already had a pack that we could buy( including the dynamo and an attachment shaft or chain to our bikes), we'd attach it to our bike and off we go!
However, they're only concerned with a a fast dollar or fast euro ! Only Fast profit and not with a healthy green market economy!
@GnosisMan50 Yes you can charge a 12 Volt battery if you put a blocking diode in one of the wires from your generator. A cheap power pack will work from most department stores like the black and decker for $70 or the Duracell powerpack for $150. See my other youtube video lB4hXV2L7kU
@Mrjetjoe An electric motor can never run on what it puts out as so much energy is lost to friction, heat, and sound. You create a frictionless motor then you're in business. Similarly you could improve the energy output of the design in the video by running the generator off the rear axle not the tyre reducing energy lost through friction.
@bicyclegenerator props to you friend......nice to see a practical energy device....really if you cancel the GYM membership and use the saving to pay for the machine.........then it sounds free to me.
@chevypowergreen The color has changed from green to black, click on the link under the description and you will see it under the "generator products" category.
@salvadorvalencia2000 The light box has a built in DC to DC converter which feeds a steady 14.4 Volts into an AC inverter which powers the light bulbs. The DC to DC converter costs $250.00
@MrJetjoe Yeah sure thats a great idea. Now what do motors run on, hmmm I think its something called energy... And oh wait, I think this device creates energy!
@MrJetjoe do they have that? im trying to see if they found a way to power your house by pedaling on a exercise bike. i want to know if this technology has been made yet.
For anyone who can bike to work and back, say, 10 mi. each way (20 mi. total), this is a "piece of cake". Not as easy for someone out of shape, but it gets easier(like anything) if you keep at it. Fitness plan and cheap(you gotta eat to pedal, but you gotta eat anyway, right?) electric.I'm 60, and if I can, so can you.
is it possible to charge a battery that will give energy to all lights in the house for a day?

you know they make bicycle hubs that do this?
schpoingle 11 months ago
@schpoingle Bicycle hubs don't put out near as much power as this stationary generator stand does. They can only do 25 Watts typically.

Not free really. Think of all the extra food you will have to buy!
splotsplot 1 year ago
@splotsplot A lot of people work out anyway so the food is not an issue. They already buy the food to fuel their work outs.

@bicyclegenerator Yes, if you put it that way then fair comment.

Dude, use that to charge your batteries. That would be really cool.

how do you regulate the voltage. I mean if you pedal too fast will it not bust the bulbs out?

not just a idea realty, and yes it runs on what it makes.
MrJetjoe 1 year ago
Yea, free energy. It only cost a few Gatorades, some snacks, and the ability to power your home and go to the bathroom at the same time.
