Note a buzz in the bunch. Smashing. Agree that it is the wrong guitar for the song. I would love to hear the song on nylon strings and straight tuning. You are brimming with talent. If you have a friend with a cello or a bowed bass that would be perfect.
You might discover that an OM or 000 guitar is more well suited to your touch. You are a good player, and it isn't just the camera undermining you here - it is the inability of the dreadnought to impart subtlety to your efforts.
hi again alan =D i'm watching every day some videos of u...i'm a fan of u :p oh darn there was something i wanted to ask but u forgot :p ahh well then i'll ask u some other questions...atleast if u would be so kind to answer them ^^
1) how many guitars u have and how expensive are they? ill answer too then it's a bit fair :p i got 1 ibanez guitar 270euros ( cheap one ) and i gonna buy a new one a taylor 750euors:p oh wel only got 600 characters remaining in this post so thats it thanks anyway=D
A very nice version.I'm trying to learn it from a powertab, but keep straying into Blackwater Side!A young chap on the tube, alasdair, has posted a very fair attempt also-not yet quite up to troubleclef standard-but who is?
I've not listened to my performance of this piece for a long time now...argh...it's aweful! I recorded it using my little cheap digital camera, and then murdered the piece by playing with little finesse! I'll have to get round to re-doing this one some time. Good to see young Alasdair's version thanks.

Hi, Lussier.
I just wish I had the time to play my guitar occasionally! Any tune would do! Hopefully, I'll post "Kenny the Kangaroo" sometime in the future. :-)
Best wishes.

Hi, Bjorn.
I have just 3 guitars!
1) The one I'm making a terrible noise with on this video is a 30 year old Suzuki (about €350 today).
2) A 10 year old Yamaha LA8 (parlour size guitar - about €600 today).
3) A custom Fylde Magician (on most of my videos) (about €5000 today)...will have to last me a lifetime! :-)
Regards.

=0 this is a very hard song i guess i hardly can play an easy version of tears in heaven xD how long do u actualty play guitar? ^^
bjornvb1991 3 years ago
Hi, Bjorn.
You can be at this level in about 2 or 3 years (with a lot of work). However, I have been playing for most of my life ... and that's a long time! :-(
Best wishes.

Thanks, squeaky. I need to re-do this piece of music though as it's a bit too rough! :-)
Cheers.

Nice job.

Thanks, troubleclef. I do prefer your own version though, also your blackwaterside...much more 'fluid'!
I'll have to re-record these some time.
Kind regards.

I prefer Groovy Kind of Love. You touched so many hearts with that song. Keep up the good work Phil
