  • Ah yes.. myxobacteria have unusually large genomes for prokaryotes. The morphology and wave action of these swarm "colonies" are not contained in their genes, but arise from circumstances of the organism/environment interaction. This all seems like a lot of struggling just to live in topsoil. Some mysteries remain.
