This was an extremely unfortunate event, but it wasn't because of Islam. There's dozens of functioning Muslim countries around the world and dozens of atrocities against Muslims, so without going into too much detail, that isn't the reason this happened. Nigeria is poor and overpopulated, so sometimes people misconstrue religion to justify their anger at their conditions or whatever reason it may be they're angry. There is no doubt that Christianity and islam have really F**ked Africa up.
These 2 religions are an abomination on the world but it is in Africa where they both will eventually die.
When Africa rises again and shows its true spirituality, culture and power, the whole continent will flourish and will eventually give birth to a new democracy that will spread across the whole world.
I can't wait for that day to come.

Actually this particular killing is in retaliation to an earlier massacre in which hundreds of muslims lost their live in the hands of christians and that is a fact. This is a very complex issue in Nigeria and so it must be handled with care.
