Assuming Ryuzenshu doesn't know Japanese, it'd be easy with a combination of AGTH (a text hooker program) and ATLAS (a translation program). Sure, you'd have to make sense of the translation (no machine translation is going to be good), but if you're good at that you're good to go!

I didn't find it difficult personally, but it's a bit of a pain to get running properly. AGTH is far from perfect--you have to determine for each individual game which block of text you want it to hook, and it's certainly not easy (basically a trial and error process, given that you have no real information to work with), and it seems some games just won't work with it at all :/
