WOW ~ "tooltipz" has gone from 6th place to 3rd place in just 28 hours and has picked up 1314 votes in less than 48 hours !!! Equally as impressive he has picked up 91 ratings !!! The number of views per hour and number of ratings for "tooltipz" over the last two days exceeds that of the other competitors by an exorbitant amount !!! (And many have had some very impressive runs). "tooltipz" ~ if you're not "playing fair" the proper thing to do is quietly withdraw from the competition.

Videos that are promoted on YouTube should be removed from the contest. I agree with Joelee. I've been working everyday hard to accumulate views.

Tooltipz, if the contest become a credit card swapping event, there is no point for the rest of us doing it. I spend hours to promote everyday in the last 6 weeks.

My video Counter stopped working so I deleted it and uploaded it again with a new title. weird. I like my new title it seems to get more views.

Thanks for the encouragement to wait on You tube to start up my video counter. My counter has been locked on 316 for over a week. Many friends have said they watched it but no change. Any ideas ???

I think it is a result of didn't pass Youtube hit count check. There are a couple things you can do. 1. contact Youtube technical service and find a way to resolve the problem. 2. delete this clip and upload again.

I am now running into the same problem. I have had lots of friends watch my video without any change in my view count. I am very discouraged. It took a whole week for it to snap back? I don't even think I have a week left.... Did it record the views even when it was frozen? Thanks, Dustin

It took my counter 9 days to start counting again and no it didn't count the videos that during that period. I emailed you tube several times. Don't know if it helped or not.

Are the 5 videos getting posted on 10/12 instead of 10/1 now?

Hi, it was always 10/12, but it appears there was a typo in one of the contest landing page paragraphs - this was corrected some time ago, and the Contest "Official Rules" section always noted 10/12. Hope this helps. Great entries everyone!

Also if you go to your Account and check your Uploaded video it gives a more up to date count.

The counter updates every few hours... eventually you will notice a sudden jump in views. Don't worry!

Youtube has an IP address check at around 300 hit counts. It will move again after checking, usually a couple days. The hits will be counted during the stopping time too. Don't worry.

My video counter is stuck on 316 views for over 24hours and You tube can't help. Can we just move to the Like voting?

Afraid we can't change the contest terms midstream. That is odd re: the counter - I believe YouTube may filter multiple views from the same IP, but that may not be the issue.
