The reason slayer isn't out there is because they were too nervous. They get nervous playing in front of large crowds and after they finished their setlist they had enough. Look it up before any of you say shot about slayer. Dave went out because he never was nervous. It was always Tom, Kerry, and Jeff.

Kerry hasnt showed on any of them because he is a dick. The truth hurts,but if these other three toured,they wouldnt sell out an arena let alone these huge stadiums.They all started out together,but there wouldnt be megadeth without dave being in metallica first. when metallica got big enough to play stadiums they put anthrax and slayer on alot of there shows,which in turn opened there music to new people.These bands would not have the succes they have,if metallica hadnt opened the doors first.

I think the line up order of these Big four shows is a bit of a farce.

It would be more true and honourable to have the headlining position rotate rather then it being based on the bands commercial success & Metallica playing last with a bigger show.

If it was really supposed to be 'historic' then all the 4 bands contribution to the forming of a metal sub-genre should be in the forefront of these events rather then who is the current sell out band.

Good on Kerry for not showing on this one.

I attended the UK show and apart from the weather it was actually really good.

Dave's vocals sound fine for this song, I don't know why Metallica and Megadeth do the opposite of tuning songs, Metallica in Eb and Megadeth in E standard, I think it would have been best if Megadeth stayed in that tuning after Youthanasia like Metallica did after Load and ReLoad, both those albums made them sound kind of mainstreamish, after their first mainstream hard rock/heavy metal with The Black Album and Countdown To Extinction

He is a pro guitarist, so I don't think he'd need more than 5 mins to get riffs. More probable is that the stage was overcrowded, and with James, Dave, Kirk and Chris around, he knew that there would not be much space for him... figuratively speeking.
