Is there chance that the same mole come again at that place because i have remove my moles 15 days ago by this method and i have small black sport at that place
@jolderon2 there are certain areas of the body, such as the nose, where mole removal isn't recommended. Not for health reasons, but because the scar may not heal as well. If you email a picture of the mole, we can better advise you. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
@DarknessBreeze There are two options for excision. The first is a two step process. This will allow the incision to be slightly smaller / the same length as the mole, but it takes longer and the patient will need to come in twice. The second method, to excise the entire mole at once is faster, but will leave a scar slightly longer in length than the original mole. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
thank you soo much !!! i was thinking about it and i was so scared because i was afraid that i will have a big scar so thank you!! if the scar disappears is my skin gonna be smooth and normal again?
@bren07071998 The stitch will be removed in one week. In about 2-3 months it will be completely healed. There will be a small scar (a line). In about 1-2 years time, the scar will fade. If the scar bothers you, there are treatments to eliminate scaring such as the v beam laser.

How big would the scar be if a facial mole the size of a dime would be removed via excision?

Is anesthesia used for this procedure? I had been considering getting an excision for my mole for a while now, but I have a very low pain tolerance

@xk4121 Yes, local anesthesia is used for mole excision. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

@bren07071998 most likely, yes your skin will be smooth and normal again, though there is a slight risk that some marking will remain
