  • Im curious as to why this has so many dislikes

  • @RascalPictures Either they were expecting step by step hand-holding tutorial or they're just jealous. :-)

  • @LEXPIX I think both. Oh ya both.

  • holy crap!! Talk about random. I came across this video by chance and was like, wait a minute, this street looks familiar. I grew up in the Burlington area. Cool!

  • @TMBrooks75 Small world indeed.

  • @TMBrooks75 Burlington Ontario? Is that right?

  • @BenjaminLucky13 Burlington, Vermont

  • You have to wear gloves because????

    The video camera is dirty?

Cant even push the buttons with gloves on.

  • @eireannsg I wear gloves cuz it was around freezing point. The iPhone must have been dirty.

  • @LEXPIX oh. Didnt look so cold...

Cold hands ...nothing that a Jagermeister could not fix.

  • I know this place...Burlington,VT...Church St. Market Place.

    P.S. Very nice effects!

  • The question is what do you do if you don't have the bracketing option like in the D3100. I don't understand why that camera doesn't have it but anyways.

Taking just one RAW and manually save 3 exposures with CameraRaw is not the same as having three genuine exposure taken by the camera itself. At least that's what I've been told.

  • @diphax hmm makes me think, but kinda make sense

  • Ok where did you get that eye piece from , i want that whole eye piece thing for my D300 !

  • @PhuNguyen88 Comes attached to the D700.

  • @PhuNguyen88

This is the D700 which has a 'full frame viewfinder' with the same eyecup the D3/s/X has. Totally different from the ones of the Nikon DX-bodies and you can't just change the viewfinder like the one of the Nikon F5 ;)

  • ray romano?? bahaha!!! jk :D

  • is it possible to do it with the nikon d5100?

  • @m3g1 You can do HDR ON any camera. Not sure of the exact sequence for bracketed continuous shooting on the D5100 since i don't own one.

  • What do you mean by exposure and exposure lock?

  • Thank you anyhow..... Never the less, your video is very informative. Keep up the great work

  • Hello:

    Grear Video.....

I have a D300S which has controls close to the D700. Anyhow, I have my Fuction Button set for BKT. OK, I want to use my Tripod to shot the 5 images. How would I do this without touching the camera? I do have a wireless triger, but won't I still need to hold the Fcn buttton when I shoot the 5 images?

    THANKS

  • @NikonPhotos4U I'm not familiar with the D300s BKT funciton. Not sure of the exact procedure.

  • How did you take 5 shots when D7000 bracketing only supports 3?

  • @jim13038 That is a D700 shown and used for this demo.

  • hey, u were in Burlington Vermont!

  • @mech450 In autumn. You are correct sir.

  • Why are you wearing gloves?

  • @Toca91 It was a cold morning. 35 degrees 'F. Or to not leave fingerprints. LOL

  • @LEXPIX Awesome! :D

  • @LEXPIX Haha! :D Have you earned money by taking pictures so far?

  • Photoshop looks best :D

  • @Nikkor200mm Why is that?

  • LOL you tried to pull a joke on the HDR name in the beginning. you failed.

  • @tordern22 I try. LOL

  • @LEXPIX But other than that, great toturial. Haven't done HDR in a while, but you've inspired me to go out and do some HDR's! Thanks!

  • i liked the orig picture better =)

  • Thz! Added video to my fav. :)

  • whats the piano song at the end??? its sound nice!

  • @anglepegasi One of Schubert's Impromptu I think. A variation of this was used int eh movie Gattica as well. Piano for 4 hands.

  • @LEXPIX its a nice piece. thanks :)

  • great help! question - what make of tri-pod do you have?

  • @ontime12 It is a Manfrotto 0555 magfiber with gearhead.

  • Is the 16-35 a full frame lens? I thought it wasn't.

  • @killinthyme03 Yup, the new 16-35 F4 VR is indeed full frame.

  • Photomatix is waaayyy better then cs5 in h.d.r. I use cs5 after i tone map on photomatix to give it a nice contrast..cheers

  • @robertnikon I agree.

  • how do you set the exposure compensation on a nikon?

  • @meldimel The +/- indeicator and the control dials depending on your model.

  • @LEXPIX thanks

  • church street.

    nice

  • @duffer29 Yup, it is a nice street when the panhandlers and drunks keep off of it.

  • @LEXPIX just looked through some of your stuff, very nice.

seems you and i have been shooting the same scenes for a couple of years.

i'm a big fan of the fishing dock.

  • My mistake, it was indeed the HDR toning function. But I do feel this option gives a more natrual picture with no noise and alot of live manipulation of the image. Love all your videos by the way : - )

  • @monkeyboy85 No problem. I'm stil figuring out the whole Photoshop and HDR thingy. Thanks for the props on my vid man. I'll try to update more.

  • OR you could just take a standard picture and click convert to HDR in Photoshop CS5, takes seconds and gives better results.

  • @monkeyboy85 I'm not familiar with that function. Where is the "convert to HDR" option located. You don't mean HDR toning or merge to HDR do you?

I've found that taking multiple images at various exposure values tends to give the most options in processing HDR images. Although manually adjusting setting from a single RAW file is second best solution.

  • What kind of camera body and lens are you using? Thanks

  • @EbisuHapa Nikon D700 (full frame) with Nikon 16-35 F4 VR attached.

  • cool, love watching you're videos.

  • @TimeSplittersChimp Thanks man.
