it's in 3-2 and 12-8 depending how u feel it (ie how u group the sixteens). if u feel 3 sixteens 2 a foot beat (kinda triplet feel), then it's four foot beats per bar (12-8), if u feel 4 sixteens per foot beat, then it's 3 beats per bar (3-2). but hey none of this matters, as long as the groove gets u on your feet, right?
Whilst I agree in principle, your explanation is wrong. If you feel 3 16ths to a beat then you're in 12-16 - what you should have said is 3 8ths ;)
Again, rather irrelevant to the groove tbh. You can tell how the drummer+bassist are feeling it from the time feel in their comping - clearly going for 3/4. Becomes more apparent in the sung section with the cross rhythmic hihats too :)

sure 3-4 goes with 6-8, 12-8 goes with 6-4 or 3-2 and 12-16 only exists in theory.
