i like hearing all of the theories people are having about the locations in pikmin 2, but something i noticed is that if you look closely on the maps of the first and second pikmin game, you'll see that the places are the same or very similar in shape, for example, the valley of repose is the forest navel, and the wistful wild is both the crash site and the final trial put together.
At the beginning I figured "Well first area cave shouldn't be THAT hard 1st sublevel "Not that hard lost some flowers but eh. 2nd "Necter!" 3rd "Dang it!" 4th "Oh my GOSH!" Boss "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the coolest is the first floor of snarget hole, the cave to the next floor is in a tree house with light glemming in. And haveing just one feather as treasue up there, its poetic.
I hope that Matt smith can live up to our expectations, and good on you for watching Doctor who. Not hating anyone who doesn't, by the way.
Anyway, i used to kill red cannon beetles by using the rocks against them. When i was younger, I used to get upset because the cannon beetles wouldn't eat their Pikpik carrots in the piklopedia(Yeah, i know i'm sad), just crushed them.
The bulbears killed my whites, my blues got flattened, my purples crushed by cannon beetles, the reds were poisoned, the yellows were drowned.. only 5 pikmin survived.
Wow... I was far better off, I suppose. I only lost like 43, but if you're like me, where you only lose 5-15 Piks in a hard level like Snagret Hole and 25 on Hole of Heroes (maybe 30) Pikmin on some hard levels, losing 43 Piks and like 35 to that giant rolling pin at the end was something you could almost cry about.
Yeah, that cave was difficult, but the boss that did me in was not Titan Dweevil, not even Waterwraith, but MAN-AT LEGS. That spider made me wish the pikmin had bombs i could kill it with...
Hehe. You know what? When I first fought him, I had to restart a few times, but I got it down after a while. Then at his second fight at the Hole of Heroes, I kept losing too many Pikmin, but after I FINALLY defeated him (restarting many times), I WALKED INTO THE WATER AND LOST AROUND 20 (GIVE OR TAKE) PIKMIN!!! I just said "Fuck it" and just tokk my loss and moved on. God, I HATE HOLE OF HEROES SO MUCH! AND WRITING IN CAPS IS FUUNN! XD
Hole of Heroes was very hard ,but the final boss was EASY compared to every other one i faced (except the annoying jellyfloats who suck up 10-15 pikmin at a time and let Raging Longlegs crush them with his big furry feet..)
Yeah. The final boss was easy... But I was shamed at how I still lost 2 Pikmin to it. D: I knew where the Jellyfloats were, so I killed them before activating the boss. It helped.
I found Dream Den to be rather easy, actually. Not too hard, but I did lose a few Piks (less than 8, I think) before meeting Titan Dweevil. He was medium for me. It was mostly time-comsuming to me. It lost quite a few too it's water weapon, but it never used the Poison weapon for some reason (Thank God for that).
(Part 2) I fought Titan Dweevil the day after you find those mites that give you an enoumous amount of nectar and sprays, so I had a lot of both in hand for the boss. I think I used about 15 of each spray. I used the purple spray near the end of the fight to take off it's last weapon (fire). I went behind the flamethrower itself and froze Titan and threw all of my reds while it was frozen and that did the trick. It was fun and challenging, but that as hard as Hole of Heroes including all of it.
I searched it up and the name of the flamethrower is called Flare Cannon. I can't remember what order they fell off in. Wish I did, though. I used my Yellows for the first 2 weapons I took and then started trying out other Piks out him.
..... How long have you been playing the game? Years? I played it only once through even if it was fun, but I just liked going through it once. I do opine to play it again sometimes. I got 1000 Pikmin in nearly a month (in game time). How many Pikmin have you cultivated?
Also, how did you manage to lse so many Pikmin? To the bosses? I, luckily, thought out whatever I could to think of a way to kill the enemy without the death of my troops. I would think for a few minutes sometimes.
Wow.... You're like this kid named Ulilililila or something like that (it's a weird name). He plays games to death from what I read. I've only read 1 comment mentioning this guy, but the person said he maxed out the Mario Bros life counter for the hell of it. The amount of Pikmin and time you've put into the game is on par with his abilities. I commend you for that.
Crawster only killed a few of my Purples. ulbax did the same (and I thought I oculd do it with no losses). Empress was the worst.
Aw, thanks and yeah, i didn't know about the Crawbster until i noticed the glowy thing on his underside. Empress was easy the first time, but when she brought the kiddies along....
LOL... I know Torchwood. Never actually seen it, but it is a spin-off of a sci-fi show which is one of my favorites: Doctor Who. Speaking of which, I really hope the next actor for the Doctor is as good as the Tenth. He was the best.
Well, I didn't mind killing him, but I liked him better than the larvae counterparts. Although, after a while, I really got to enjoy destroying those larvae cannon beetles.
(continue) Man-At-Legs was the second worst to me because I only had an advantage on the first encounter. The second time, he raped my forces. Empress Bulbax used her only little army to decimate mine, but I won. She made me lose half my army, though. Crawster was relatively easy IMO, but I didn't know what to do exactly, and thus, some of my Pikmin died as a result of not knowing the trick to beating him at first.
@Darkspinethezolrace heh i've beaten PIKMIN 2 with like only 5 Pikmin killed three times (5 being max) i'm a good expert when it comes to the game XD (I AM NOT bragging >_> <_<)
@TheRubezavala XD it's not something that's taught, just follow a few rules: Always attack from the back if you can. NEVER use Purples unless their the last in your team. Always, always, always explore your surroundings alone of with 1-3 PIKMIN, it helps with disarming traps.
@TheRubezavala Yes, Submerged Castle has infinite Violet Candypop Buds because they are required to defeat the boss. But it's best to keep using PIKMIN that are not Purple or White, those I consider 'special' because they can only be reproduced certain ways.
This place sounded easy - i went, and on the very first floor, one of tose freaking doodlebugs came out and poisoned about ten of my pikmin, and the hairy bulborb woke up and... about 17 got eaten...plus on the third floor the bulbear...sublevel 6 the decorated cannon beetles around the base...and then finally the boss. Gees, i thought the valley of repose was supposed to be easy!
The first music makes me feel like I'm lost in an endless forest.... being chased by something that seems totally harmless, and when it gets close, it stares at me and smiles. Then, in an instant, it lunges at me, and I'm engulfed in shadows and I never see light again..... Like I know I'm going to die, and I'm slowly slipping into Insanity....

I've always believed, that if you outstretch yourself to faraway places, you will find new ideas, an example; this final frontier of an abyss. Why, I've seen colorful objects everywhere! Those frisky pikmin seem to occupy themselves like little children with these wonderous objects! Maybe every being in Hocotate could enjoy a treasure like this! Of course...the Ship would be the one selling those items for a biiiiiig price, as I've learned from kids; happiness still comes out of your wallet...

... Gareth David-Lyoid? Who's he? Your brother or something?
