  • very instructional...

  • this video was so helpful, Thanks a lot

  • Where did u took this model?

thanks in advance for answer ;)

  • thanks for help :)

  • You are concentrating way too much on too many lights and their settings.

Just use vray buffer EV correction meter to adjust the exposure value and use vray sun with vray light plane, dome to light up the scene

  • At 4:36, you click on blown-out white pixels, and it gives you the "color(float)" value. How did you do this? i have 3DS Max 2011. I right-clicked on mine, and it brought up RGB values and alpha with 16-bit values, etc, but no color(float) values.

  • @ucrapia You need to make sure you are using the Vray Frame buffer, not the max frame buffer.

  • @travistlo thank you........... nice vray frame buffer tactics

  • At 4:30 is shows you how to set your camera exposure.

  • heyy i tried to do it went oof waay too bright i duno whats the problem can u help me ?

  • I used the default setting other than using Irr map on med for the 1st pass, and LC for the second.

The settings for the renderer are very much dependent on the scene and the size of the rendering.

  • woooooooooow i lovee this one but plssssss can u tell me what was the vray settings u used in the renderer pleaseeeeeeeeeee i need itt

  • Thank.

  • I found this very helpful, thanks!

  • Nice video and aproach with daylight system. I was searching a method to render volume sunlight in vray, anyway your video is useful. In color mapping I use gamma correction type with 2.2 gamma. Have you set up your screen to match the correct workspace? I will test your setting.

  • @juantrillotube No, I didn't have my screen configured to the correct color workspace. When I try to work I usually am sending my renderings to architects who use default settings, So i don't change my monitor. Also the main intent was to help people who really didn't want to get into the million settings of Vray and color in general. Using this method I hoped to help them get a quick decent look to their exterior scenes.

  • nice

  • Thank you so much for this Turorial. Now i can use realistic sun ;)

  • its good

  • Where can I get V-ray?

  • it's a great tutorial... thanks alot

  • Why can't you just use your voice? It's damn hard to pay attantion to what you're doing!

  • I was going to add it soon. Just havent had the time to add it, or make any new ones.

  • how can i make appear those position shower boxes on each quadrant?

  • I dont know what you mean. Can you explain a little bit more.

  • there is an object at the top right corner of each view how can it make that appear?

  • Its called a view cube. That is specific to max 2009 i believe. (Maybe 2008). It should show by default.

  • nice tutorial man...... thanks

  • Watch in HD if you can, the quality is much better.
