Iron Savior songs may sound a bit simple/generic and maybe not as elaborate as other Power Metal bands, but Piet's guitars are not generic at all. Listen to Savage Circus then if you think Iron Savior is generic.

"Better" or "worse" music is a misconception since you can't mathematically prove one or the other.

Honestly i dont like the idea of us bashing on pop and rap ( not a fan of any of them). us as metalheads should appreciate metal and listen to what we enjoy. Keeping metal underrated is what makes us metalheads. i say we dont bash other genres and appreciate ours. and most modern rock doesnt deserve to join the genre metal. just give the music to those who are willing to listen to it and just keep others out of it.

Twilightning, Sabaton, Stratovarius, Primal Fear, Dream Evil, Dragonforce, Freedom Call, Sonata Arctica, Galneryus, Rhapsody of Fire, Firewind, Ancient Bards, Azrael (Japanese) Magistarium, Ultimatium, Dreamtale, Blind Guardian, Dragonland, Amazon, Edenbridge, The Storyteller.

As a side note: ALL of the bands mentioned here are melodious and energetic, in at least five songs. (Most many more)

Y'know Beethoven's "Ode to Joy"? They do a power metal rendition and reworking, complete with a verse and chorus, plus a sampling at the very beginning. It's beyond awesome. Still, do not forsake Twilightning's first two albums. Magnificent.
