A combination of: a php script to walk through the xml files associated with each streetview image (see my website) to construct the path, then a shell script that downloads the streetview image tiles, stitches them together, then cuts the forward facing portion. Finally a call to mencoder to turn it into a movie.

Hi, I like it! I made a small one just for a laugh for the family travelling around my block. I'm wondering how do you get the images? Some sort of script that acceses Google images automatically? Direct from the streetview camera car contractors? Cheers
