  • Great video, found myself wearing the white t-shirt, backpack & sunglasses in this!

  • Wow, the BBC actually reporting on a protest for a change.

  • Just found this video and pleased to see myself in the denim jacket 1.30 in.

It was a great day of action, far more bigger events, occupation and resistance to come!

  • @myY0UTUBEchanneI ...of the reform.

Note, not even the most dedicated militants turn up to every action they can fit into their schedule. Those who do suffer what's referred to as burnout, and usually fairly quickly.

  • @myY0UTUBEchanneI That leaves less than a thousand. If we assume that say, 10% of the attendees at that particular time were health workers, then that brings us to the estimation that if the staff of that particular hospital who weren't on duty are a reasonable representation of health workers, then roughly 1 in 8 health workers don't support the aims of the protest (and 7 in 8 do), that's not even getting into how many of those 1 in 8 have been misled by the media about the implications of

  • @myY0UTUBEchanneI I'm an expat. I live in a different time zone. And no, they don't work 24/7. They work approximately 1/3 of the day, and less on are on duty at night, so at an educated guess, approximately 1/2 of them are working in the mid afternoon. Out of the 5500 who are left, I'd guess that at least 1/3 don't think it could achieve anything and therefore don't see the point but would support it in principle, 1/3 had other commitments, and 1/6 either couldn't be arsed or were too fatigued

  • many trolls on here..that tell me there shitting themselfs of what is to come.

occupy everywhere 15th oct..let the REVOLUTION begin!!

    kev UK

  • @myY0UTUBEchanneI The proportion of health workers taking part was never the issue, you said sitting on the road was something to be ashamed of. But I do wonder how many of those 11000 would have taken part if they could

  • @Spartacus21C nice one folks, @myyoutubechannel next time you end up in A&E , I dare you to spout your shit then, thats if you get served.

  • @myY0UTUBEchanneI A cause you support. I don't care what it is.

Why do I feed the trolls =/

  • @myY0UTUBEchanneI Oh, ya think? No shite sherlock. So does that mean you're afraid to get your clothes dirty for a cause, or just think it's beneath you?

  • 1500-2000 people say the BBC. So 5000-7500 knowing the spin the media and police put on demo figures.

  • 'The NHS will last as long as there are folk left with the faith to fight for it'-Aneurin Bevan

  • Oi BBC. Get this on your website.

  • Nice report. Any chance of putting it up on your website soon? This story deserves a wider audience. :-)

  • thanks for posting

  • Pity the Tory Broadcasting Corporation wants to hide this from its web site

  • @MouthOfTheUmber If you think the BBC is right-wing, then you must be so far on the left that you're off the scale. Considering they report on and exaggerate government spending cuts as much as possible; have been described by people within the corporation as having a liberal bias and supporting multiculturalism; and their drama director said previously he sought to foster "left of centre thinking", you may need to rethink your hypothesis.

  • @MrToadful it is well known the Tory biased BBC is scared of losing it's licence fee so does anything the Conservative and Unionists Party says. At least they aren't as far to the right as the raving Daily Express, Daily Fascist & Daily Torygraph.

Why do Tories consider themselves to be centre right?

    Because they're self-centred and self-righteous - boom, boom.

  • @MouthOfTheUmber You haven't actually backed that up with any evidence; you've just cast aspersions, used weasel words, and ignored what I pointed out, including the BBC's own employees admitting left wing bias.

  • @MrToadful oh please, the BBC has widely been described as favouring the left by the right and favouring the right by the left.

    I suppose it is imparital.

  • Loving the Woodcraft Folk flag in the top right of the video at 1:10

  • @IlyaPitta Pretty sure it's a Green Left flag

  • @Spartacus21C in the top left hand corner of the flag it holds the Woocraft logo.

  • dirty gov.
