I was lucky enough to see this lovely lady open with this song at Wembley Arena in 1988.Her backing band was George Duke !!She was awesome that night.Great to see her back kicking some ass!!!!
I was in the 2nd grade when my teacher asked how many days are in a year, I immediately begin to sing this song in my head. I raised my hand and got the question right! Thanks, Mrs. Anita for helping me get a good grade that day and giving me great music to listen to everyday:)
I have loved Anita Baker's music since I first heard "Angel." I love the jazz influence, but also she sings just plain ole' good music that can be listened to and ejoyed by all generations without having to worry that something innappropriate may be sung in her music like alot of artists today.
You have done a good job connecting with an outstanding singer. I hope you can continue to deliver more of her. I have always like here since my HS days. My wife and I have really enjoyed her concerts over the years - her tickets don't cost enough!!
