film in a daaaarker area,that way the saber stands out,and whenever you run out of moves for a closeup contact,try charging in after you create some distance. Makes it more entertaining XD Adding in more footwork as well,which is hard to do(doesn't have an opponent is why T_T) But anyways,last recommendation on my part is to try splitting the maul saber in two and fighting like that XD No,don't do the obvious thing and get another saber to match it,fight with one vs. two!

it was semi-contact rocgod, but my kids play with them to and they don't pull there blows and they are still going strong.

like i said it was only a mess around nothing serious, i taught kubudo for a few years so thought the same style could be applied to the sabers,thing is it's not flashy enough

yeah, double blade are hard to work with (because of the massive size, and their manuverability) but if you get used to them. they can EASILY overcome a single hilt...
