Cool little creatures. Sometimes in the summer evenings I can hear them flying around making noises almost like birds.I'd like to build some bat roosts one day and put them on the side of my house.

It's amazing how much of the fotage in Planet Earth is just redone Attenborough. Wonder if he was involved in more than just the narration.

huh? most of the footage in planet earth was brand new, i mean, historically. attenborough could hardly present a snow leapord in live, for example. some of that shit took months and years to catch on film... and had never been witnessed, let alone photographed by human beings.

I saw the Making of as well, friend. If you'd watch the older Attenborough,Life of Mammals, Birds, ect. You'd see that many of the exact same events/interactions were recaptured with HD and put into Planet Earth. What exactly in Planet Earth had never been witnessed before?

If you like Attenborough, check out Planet Earth in HD - it's out of this world. 11 episodes all in HD, hour each. You could fit 2 on a single single layer dvd, if only they'd be willing to sell it in divx format...
