WMM "side-by-side" effect tutorial AND 4 videos tutorial

after 4 hours i got it all done BUT in the end how it shows all 4 video mine turned out to come up as a all black screen for some reason but i can still hear the audio

@TheKeeblerGuy If it doesnt, then i recommend you use vegas movie studio HD platinum 11.0. It is a good software to make a side by side videos.

OK ive just downloaded this so i'll help..

You have to download the thing he showed in that video, Pip Plus, then get the side by side code ( sites(.)google(.)com(/)site(/)­simonmfgg(/)wmmcode ) or the TopTop BotBot thing in the description. Then do as he says, make a "AddOnTFX" Folder and add those codes in to notepad and save it as .xml.

Ex. Sidebyside.xml

Then go into Transitions and its there.

you did it wrong or you can't find it

you must paste that code then save as toptop.xml and the other one botbot.xml (this MUST be saved in movie maker>Shared> AddOnTFX(create if needed)) save it there

you will see the effect if not then spend just a little more time looking on it

only problem i have is the horizontal transition... i extracted the file into the folder with the other transitions and it doesnt show on wmm. yes i tried restarting wmm but nothing shows up. i had no problem getting the toptop, botbot, and sidebyside.

if the side by side doesnt show up in transitions, make sure you actually INSTALLED pipplus, u might have gotten the setup after clicking the link but didnt install it

then if you open windows movie maker, pip plus would ask you to register, go unregistered, and then u shoudl find side by side.

Hi, first thanks for the tutorial 4 vids side-by-side. I follow what you recommend unfortunatelly I could not find the topside, and the botside file in wmm transition. the files were created on notepad, saved with different names, they are there in AddOnTFRX folder but on wmm they are not there. could you plz tell me what's the problem? thanks

I think it is because you named "AddOnTFX" wrong, it doesn't have an "R" in it.

Are you sure you saved the file as a ".xml" file?

Those are the only things I can think of.

BTW I am the same person, just this is my main account.
