if you were to keep a bass catch it in a cast net or minnow trap they don't have the shock of getting reeled in, they'll eat and live for a very long time... if that helps....

I realized how much it needs to eat after a few days. Turns out it costs around $2.00 a day just to feed the damn thing.

It was nice though to have it for a while - l sure learned a lot about its behavior.

I had a tank of fishes, I put in some craw fish, and 1 Bass fish. Next morning I saw some fishes sliced in half, and craw fish eating it's guts. I take out the craw fishes. Next morning I more fishes were disappearing, very strange. Then I see the tail of a fish hanging out of the Bass's mouth. It was not cool. I had no idea Bass eat other fishes. I didn't even knew the fish I had was a Bass.
