LOVE these movies, Love Emilio and Lou Diamond Phillips <3 Always liked Charlie SHeen but his damn name sounds like some tough household lime scale remover!! Prefer his name Carlos Estevez!! I <3 Billy! Go Billy!
@BringthePain1000 There are different versions, Pat garret and billy the kid with Chris Christofferson, "bob" said he has $1.60 in "thin" dimes. It shows a good scene BTW for old school. But it was $1.80 from many of my findings.
Viggo Mortensen and Robert Knepper was in this movie. Robert played the foolish Deputy Carlisle, and Viggo played the character John W. Poe. Hard to believe that these two men would be in this movie.
Sweet video! Your editing was pretty badass, went really smoothly with the music. Good stuff. One little note, where's Dirty Steve in that final montage near the end of the song; you even got Henry William French, but no Dirty Steve? Besides that, awesome job!
OMG THE AD WAS REEAAAAAAAAALLLYYY PERVERTED!!! IT SHOWED 1 MAN AND 1 WOMAN IN BED SMILING PER SLIDE OR WHATEVER AND THEN IT SAID "It's Better On Springs" THEN IT SAID "Whatever You Do In Bed, Sealy Supports You!" O.o
Kick ass! Though I like the 1st one slightly better. The main reason is That in the second one doc cheated on his wife and was so in love with her in the 1st...I geuss I'm old fashioned :)
I'd also like to see doc's wife again and a bigger plot in 2. Overall though I love both!!!
I still like to think that Billy was Brushey Bill Roberts who lived until 1950 but still never got his pardon. I think him and Pat were too good friends for Pat to kill him.
@nightrider836 after he died Govener Thoms J. Mabry did pardon him look it up and i agree that Brushy Bill Roberts was billy because some of billy the kids friends said he was and he had the exact same scars and also pat garrett couldnt kill billy so he made belive so he could get money.
Brushy Bill Roberts told a good yarn, but he wasn't Billy the Kid. He had holes in his story you could drive a steam train through. Besides, before claiming to be Billy the Kid, he'd claimed that he was a member of the James Gang. What does that tell you?
@MrRazorz That is all hear-say no one can disprove it. He had a long time friend that knew the real Billy The Kid convinced he was who he said he was... There cannot ever be holes in a story because no one knows the truth to began with... I believe him to be the real kid...
It's true we can never be 100% sure about things that happened 130 years ago, but written history is what MOST LIKELY happened, based on the evidence available. Historians spend a lot of time checking their (and each other's) facts to make sure it's as accurate as possible.
Thus, we know quite a bit about The Kid's life and death, and it's a bit more solid than "hearsay". And the MOST LIKELY story is that he died and was buried in Fort Sumner in 1881.
@lizard2006 And on a personal note, I've never really understood why people feel the need to embellish history with "mysteries" and conspiracy theories. Isn't the story of Billy the Kid interesting enough already, without claiming he secretly lived another 70 years afterwards (during which time he apparently did nothing very interesting at all)?
Phil Plait once said "The universe is cool enough without making up crap about it." The same goes for history.
@MrRazorz I've spoke with a historian on this myself. In fact I took a personal interest in the entire ordeal myself. I actually became obsessed at one point. Based on everything I've read, and the facts it is possible that Bill Roberts was who he claimed he was. What is funny about Bill is that he had no social security number, he had no identification that was actually tracable. Why would a 70 year old man who is on his death bed claim to be someone he isn't?
@lizard2006 Does your historian have a name? Credentials?
As for facts - well, as I said, Brushy Bill had too many holes in his story. He forgot key details (like Pat Garrett's name). He claimed to remember doing things that Billy the Kid never did (or worse, that OTHER people did). He claimed they killed the wrong man in Fort Sumner, when the entire town witnessed the body on display that night, and men who knew the Kid helped bury him the next day.
@lizard2006 And while it's possible, it's still not likely. I mean, it's POSSIBLE Elvis is still alive or that the moon landing was faked, but that doesn't mean we should automatically believe it.
Given that Social Security numbers didn't exist for most of Brushy Bill's life (they were first issued in 1936) is it that surprising he didn't have one? And what does it prove? That he might not have really been Ollie P Roberts? That only leaves a few million other people he could have been...
I would like see if usmctanks comment "shot and buried alive", kindly let me know where i can read or see some document of proof on that. My personal opinion is Pat loved and went through to much with Billy to carry it out, providing he was sober.
billy the kid was NOT left handed, little known fact, the type of picture that you see the famous pose in was actually an old style of photography which used the reverse of the negative, making it look like he was left handed, in actual fact a right handed gun. and no he was not "let go" by pat , he was shot and buried.

btw, why does Jon Bon Jovi sport a Native attire, bull skull with eagle feather tattoo and performing without the other band members in his official video?
Oh my Goodness thansk for all these vids. I was 15 when I was crazy for this movie, especially the second: I had a HUGE crush on Kiefer Sutherland and I am a mega fan of Bon Jovi LOL
This was the epitome of my 6 year old self (my dad was nice enough to let me and my brothers/sisters watch young guns 1 & 2 hehe) I had a crush on Lou Diamond Phillips (and that GORGEOUS hair), Kiefer Sutherland, Emilio Estevez, Christian Slater and ofc Jon Bon Giovi <3 so this song has such amazing childhood memories for me :D
i have heard a different story, pat shot so many holes in billy the kid that his body could not be identified, now i don't think pat was afraid of billy in fact i understood that they were friends , maybe there was a reason for all the bullet holes , i think pat covered for billy so that he could escape,

That was one of my favorite scenes from the movie. I think my favorite part from the first one is this:
Dirty Steve: "Damn good ridin' with you, Chavez."
Chavez: "Many nights, my friend..Many nights, I put a blade to your throat while you were sleeping. *Steve looks alarmed* Glad I never killed you, Steve. You're alright."
This was very, very nice editing, especially towards the end! Couldn't decide if it's 4 or 5 stars so I gave 5. :D Please check out my Young Guns fan vids on my other account peterpanlegend. (:
