The judges are fucking stupid. They could have simply told her she had too much of an arrogance about her and that her arrangement and key changes weren't good/right. Aside from that, her voice was great. No pitch issues. Simon telling her the singing was terrible shows he's one big plop of fucking douchery. Seriously? It made me not care that she was cocky, as I agreed with everything she was saying. Attitude ignored, they should have let her go. Things can be worked on. Unfair.

the most important thing in singing is getting the tunes right, and that means no false notes, no changing key 3 times in 10 secs, my god people, seriously u really think she's great?!?!

Simon often compares the singer to the original. I don't think Aretha should have picked a song by Whitney. Simon often compares people to her and it's risky to sing a song by someone so great. Personality is important too, and I think she was a bit over confident. It made me dislike her when she insisted she was so great. She COULD sing, but I don't think her voice was meant for that song.
