  • type m yes type r no, the only type r mazda every made was a third gen rx7 (rd) jdm only. ironicall mazda also made a gt-r version of the second gen rx7 (fc) also jdm.

  • Only reason I'm asking is that my buddies miata is a 95 with the 1.8 no power, no ac, factory bilsteins, mud flaps, rear and front lips.... I was told it was the rare type R model.
