wrong proportions you should be making flares with strontium not half rockets to much Mg and completely wrong composition.take care

I can tell you what you need for it because i dont have the chemicals here now.

First of all, for most red-fire compositions you need Strontium Nitrate.

It's pretty hard to get but if you have it it's very usefull

To make something similair as this above: 13 parts Strontium Nitrate

3 parts Sulfur

3 parts Aluminium powder

DONT MILL METAL POWDERS (static electricity could mke it ignite)

It won't be perfect red but thats why pyrotechnics is so fun, keep improvin ;)

well, if you are 12, you should watch out making pyrotechnic compositions. Flash powders can be very aggressive. making coloured fountains and stuff like that is one step higher pyrotechnics for which you need some hard-to-get-chemicals. Try to stick with the safer stuff first.

May I ask what kind of flash and smoke bombs you make? (what they consist of)

lol making fountains isnt that complacated just take a tube hammer your fuel into it then make a benzonite clay nozel fuse and light like a backwards rocket

dude don't mill magnesium it's pyrophoric. Also, add polyvynil chloride next time, it makes the red SUPER deep
