no you receive the Holy Spirit after you repent and accept Jesus Christ into your life, this is what John 3:5 talks about, you become born again from water (which is baptism which symbolizes repentance and turning away from sins) and you become born again from the spirit when the Holy Spirit gives birth to you experience and God changes you into a new person. The Holy Spirit does not have anything to do with conscience, we know what is wrong but it does not mean we have the Holy Spirit

Christianity is not about rituals, salvation is not through works but through faith alone, baptism and communion are the only observances christians make but they are not a means of salvation. Babptism is only a symbol of your new life in Christ and communion is only a rememberance of what Jesus did in the cross for you but there is no point in you getting baptized if you havent repented or taking communion when you dont believe what Jesus did in the cross for you

I think you guys may have this confused. Religion defines rules, organizing, telling you a good person. I agree but that's not what Christianity is about. While Religion claims to save you from rules, Jesus saves you the trouble. Christianity is about relationship, not religion. If Christianity is another religion, then that means we can be saved by the law. If we are saved by the law, then what is the purpose Jesus SAVING us, if he's known as THE savior. Think about it.

Science is simply studying the world around us by use of observation and experimentation. you are twisting things, you are saying people need the bible to find the Holy Spirit but it is the opposite, peopel need teh Holy Spirit to find the bible, and you will get teh Holy Spirit when you admit you are a sinner and repent from your sins and open your heart to God, that is how a change will take inside you, a change we call being born again and you will become more Christ like. Your life will change, from being a worldly person you will like spiritual things etc.

The bible does talk about repenting from sins but this is not the only way to learn you are a sinner, God gave us all rationality for us to know what is right or wrong, God did not only write in the bible what is right and wrong but He also wrote it in our hearts, in their thoughts, consciences Romans 1:15 so even if we dont have the bible we all automatically know that we do things that are wrong and sin

no you receive the Holy Spirit after you repent and accept Jesus Christ into your life, this is what John 3:5 talks about, you become born again from water (which is baptism which symbolizes repentance and turning away from sins) and you become born again from the spirit when the Holy Spirit gives birth to you experience and God changes you into a new person. The Holy Spirit does not have anything to do with conscience, we know what is wrong but it does not mean we have the Holy Spirit

Christianity is not about rituals, salvation is not through works but through faith alone, baptism and communion are the only observances christians make but they are not a means of salvation. Babptism is only a symbol of your new life in Christ and communion is only a rememberance of what Jesus did in the cross for you but there is no point in you getting baptized if you havent repented or taking communion when you dont believe what Jesus did in the cross for you

I think you guys may have this confused. Religion defines rules, organizing, telling you a good person. I agree but that's not what Christianity is about. While Religion claims to save you from rules, Jesus saves you the trouble. Christianity is about relationship, not religion. If Christianity is another religion, then that means we can be saved by the law. If we are saved by the law, then what is the purpose Jesus SAVING us, if he's known as THE savior. Think about it.
