I think Disney should've gotten the license from the one company that one the whole battle over the Kimba right,so TLK could've been kimba remake authorized. Disney right now should buy the rights now or Funimation to restore the animation(like the DBZ DVDS) and have a Japanese/English languages with subs.
Yeah but you've got to remember that Jungle Emperor is officialy ended in Japan and Across the globe. FUNimation only do modern day animes like DBZ. And ever since the issue with the cutting (with NBC) and the lion king, would the Tezuka family wanna go through all that again? And remember, America lost licencing rights to kimba and mushi productions is not here anymore.

You can get this series in English. It is called "Leo The Lion" and I own this DVD.
The place I got the DVD has all 26 episodes uncut and remastered. Leo came to the USA by the CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) in 1984.

当時の『三洋電機』は現行ロゴではなく、一世代前のロゴですね。小平市の実家に有る扇風機は現行ロゴですが、映像に出ていた旧ロゴは昭和末期まで使用されていました。

well, it's the sequel to the first colored anime in japan XD
but yeah ur right, this did come out in 60's. first was Kimba The White Lion (Jungle Emperor), and then this, Leo The Lion (Onward, Leo!)

It would not work out or would never happen, beleve me and one company all ready did release Kimba on DVD, all 52 eps but with EVEN more edits.
