I've been here. It was a bit foggy and the moon provided only half adequate light. we used lights from our cell phones and a pocket flashlight I had in my car. okay i'll just skip to the action. upon entering the cemetery we heard a sound in the woods which my friend most accurately described as plywood hitting plywood. over half our group left. 3 of us remained. we stood with our backs to each other. the most action was the sound of drums slowly beating in the distance.indian burial ground?

@sk8liftlive don't think it's an Indian burial ground haha but i guess people are always hearing strange sounds in the woods. there was a boys home nearby i'm pretty sure. maybe that had something to do with it?

the person who died 2008 was the last remaining person in the family. the family house is behind the woods. now abandoned i think for me the best part of spider gates is on october 31st when me and my friends would hide in the woods and scare people. haunted i do not think ,,, i had more than a dozen nights spent there sleeping and drinking.

i just got back from the place - how to get there when your driving if you got directions this is how you know your there... look for a creepy street thats covered by trees hanging over go down that street till you a see a yellow gate like one guarding a trail... walk down that its totally secluded and its probably like 7 min walk make sure to bring your diapers!!!

i did go there at night twice. the first time, someone took a picture of me and the background was all black, with a white shadowy figure in the back. we were the only ones there. the second time i went, we had gone to Rutland State Park before.. and decided to go to Spider gates right after. we heard a squeaking (as if the gate was moving back and forth). but the gate was still. we also heard talking but no one was around that we could see. so it is a little weird at night sometimes.

I live about 20 minutes away from Worcester. I read on a website that this place is heavily patrolled and there's no tresspassing. Is that all bluff? I liked to visit abandoned places when I was a teenager, but I'm 23 now..and would prefer not to end up in jail. Lmao!

never had a problem with the cops. i've been about 6+ times and never even seen a cop. it's not against the rules if it's during the day. at night is a different story. but i also go a back way, i think, so it's not patrolled. no worries :)

hey i went to grafton job corp it used to be a state hospital it has catacombs under neath it creepy shit would happen thier and theres a legend behind spidergates supposely if you go there at certian time wierd stuff happens and it gets progressively worse it said ppl died before they went through eight gate so yeah i dont if its true but hey its interesting in the least i want to there now

lol i live right near that place, im not even kidding, i live less then a mile away, acctually if i walk to the end of my street and then go down a path threw the woods for a few minutes, im right there at the path to spider gates, ive been down there before, its not scary but the ground is really hallow, its freaky

im from L.A. and I lived up in North Oxford MA from 04 to 07 and one of the first things my boys did was take me to spider gates..didnt see nothing but man it felt like somthing was up...man i miss MA

i went there a night time and nothing happen but the scariest thing that i saw were too people a guy and a girl walkin by the lake at 3 am at nigh with their heads down and they had a old amerikan car i saw'em twice, once on the right side and then by the left side....that didnt look normal to me. cuz nobody will walk at that time in the middle of nothing and when is fucking dark just the lights of my car.

I was told that a kid hung himself there.

I think that probably caused most of the haunting.

you're right. the Hanging Tree is where the people hung themselves. rumor has it a girl was found in a cave in the woods there. you should check it out someday :) even if nothing happens, it's peaceful.

I have yet to go to Spider Gates Cemetery but once I get a new digital camera, or get mine fixed I hope to catch something on video! It will be a little while before I get a new camera, or mine fixed.

I went to Spider's gate several years ago with a camera crew. It was uneventful but 3 of my crew went nuts a few days later. I tried to get in touch with them recently but 2 commited suicide and the sound guy of the group couldn't be located. I myself haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary...except a divorce, several spine surgeries and a SH****** of bad luck. Hope no one else had any problems.
