seen quite a few of this guys videos. Noticed in all, he must be the most roughest luthiers out there. Guitar lutherie, is for the most part a delicate job requiring a very sharp eye for detail.
This guy appears to have worked in an abattoir before he started workin on guitars.
Its impossible to refret a guitar with the fretboard NOT on the neck.. hahahaha.. this really is a Redneck .. i have never seen anyone this mad before.. hehe
This man is mad. Making this is the best way to break down al work made before. Is there any sense to perform fretworks BEFORE setting fretboard on neck ?!
Why in the world would you fret the board before its on the guitar neck? Why in the world would crown and file the the fret ends before the frets are level? Who would let this guy work on their guitars?
Please tell me this is a joke, I haven't seen one video where he has done anything worthy of being performed on a guitar.
why don't they just upload one big video of this guy doing it all , this guys really helpful I think but just expert villiage cutting his videos down so much annoys me.
trying to clamp a vice grip tool down on a flat piece of metal standing on it's side (radius) isn't a very smart idea IMO.. that's a really good way to gouge yourself or chip the fretboard.. I think you would have better luck laying it flat on the wider side and then pressing down

What about a bound Gibson neck where the fret has to sit between the binding? This wouldn't work at all.

This is expertvillage? The strings will need to be 1/4" from the edge with the fret rounded like that.
