@Tr4ucer well the name "Sigur Rós" is actually suppsoed to be written as "Sigurrós", because it's a female Icelandic name. and also the name of Jónsi's younger sister. though the world roughly translates into "victory rose".

Well, it's not like you can't make mistakes. All games have different mechanisms for dealing with the player making mistakes, and PoP decided that rather than give you a death animation and restart you, they'd give you a "rescue" animation. The end effect is the same, you've got to retry the puzzle, but without having to deal with any death screens. Gameplay is completely unchanged from the usual system.

After the first Prince of Persia, it seemed like the series lost it's way and got caught up in all of this irrelevant crap other games were doing. They felt they needed a darker and edgier game to compete with other action platform titles. This wasn't the case at all. I loved the originals atmosphere and design. And now with the newest installment, I honestly feel like Prince of Persia is back from the "hiatus" it was on. I can't wait to re experience what made the series so great...originality.

music is music. and they didn't write a song for prince of persia, the albums been out for some time. I wouldn't call it selling out and you have to admit the music fits in with the visuals. Plus i've noticed that games have been stealing some good old songs and using them in their commercials. examples gears of war - mad world, and lost odyssey - white rabbit.

I'm also a huge fan of Sigur Ros. However, it's kind of sad to see their music on a trailer for a video game. I always gave them a lot of credit for turning down huge sums of money to use their music in commercials. What do you guys think? Think they sold out on this one? Or did they make the right decision to allow the song to be used?

They don't allow any use of their songs for stuff they don't approve of.

Their songs have been used in Iceland in commercials for driver safety awareness.

I don't blame them they i recently heard that they only get like 35% from the profit of their album due to the financial state of Iceland.

I also think that people should really start to look at games as an artform. Films and music are globally excepted, why not games?
