Finally, accroding to the website, Driveline, and ChrisOleary, some pitchers know what should do and not to do (such as inverted L, or bad followthrough phase problem )
know how to adjust and be constant in the delivery
(which means control not speed)
In MLB, not matter how fast you are, if you have 90mph +
(well almost most of the pitchers who has potential will achieve more than 144km)
, you will be successful with great location, so do not go for velocity but commend
i dun really agree, because great stuff with awful pitching mechanics like Mark Prior, still can be accurate but his mechanics is constantly wrong, but because of his practice and repeat, he still can have good control over years but it definitely cause him injury and his career will be ruined, and if he has a lucky mechanics with only a few mistakes, like John Smoltz (when he is young), he may suffer with 3-5 year rotation injury,
i totally agree that Maddux is one of the guy in MLB that has the best commend (control or accuracy) and because of his good and constant pitching mechanics, and one more thing to notice, he is not a max guy, he use around 80 % of his power to pitch, not like roger clemens, with a very good pitching mechanics as well but max effort, cause him 7 shoulder sugery
so how does he has so much movement

I am a huge fan of GM as well.
I question the straight to the mound aspect for younger. less developed pitchers and wonder if that was GM's routine in an offseason workout?

So finally, Maddux is one of my favourite pitchers in all time
all pitchers must have a great or almost flawness pitching mechanics,
then they will feel comfortable and free from injury and keep work hard for their own drills and body training.
thx for sharing this video
cheers
