  • hi sir

    very nice building.

i have a qeustion iam working ona samurai 1:72 scale diorama. i wanna use extruded polysterene foam to make a some sorta elevated village on a rocky hill. something like the diorama scene in the movie ronin.but how can i best make a rocky just cut brick forms into the foam and put a layer of plaster over it or can i better cut bricks out fo the foam and then gleu them into a plate ?

  • @bleushift For that small of scale I would use bark mulch glued together for the rocky outcrops (coat them with a thin plaster slurry goop - after they're painted, they look quite good).

  • woahh! hod id u make the stained glass windows?

  • a++++++++++++

  • sweet job sir, and thank you for passing on your knowledge

  • You're the best ! Love your work!

  • Im not the 'gamer' but I want to make terrans for green army men. Like ill just glue them on to make a lil battle feild

  • how mutch do you want to paint my space marine army

  • nice work :D

  • Very nicely done!! I loved all your videos/tips/rants haha, excellent work :) I've never made terrain and I just made something along the same lines as that and I've wowed my friends with it haha, you should do another!! Thank you so much for the tips and tricks :)

  • Very nicely done terrain, Im going to make something like this in the future.

But this chapel looks kinda fantasy to me not 40k.

  • no offensive , but don't u ever stop or just bored of this stuff .....well i sure do

  • All the time. I do a variety of art type stuff and general building. I just took time off here and built a couple large potting benches.

Set up a whack of those little green army men in your unwanted terrain pieces and sit back and snipe them with your bb gun. hella fun.

  • Watched all the videos and it's pretty damn amazing what you can do with one piece of pink polystyrene and a couple files and paint. Great job

All I'd like to know is how many hours did this take you to make because I've been asked by some friends to make them a gameboard full of stuff like this

  • haha..very nice!!i envy you

  • it was a real cathedral...it was you who is a giant!!

  • Man this is awesome!

  • great value on your videos...been watching the whole series, your filled with knowledge that most ppl dont share.

    thank you so much :)

  • Thank you for all these vids. I sort of hit a rough spot (as we all do from time to time in our lives) the last half year or so and completely stopped creating anything. Your vids have inspired me to get my workshop back in order, restock, and get back to crafting once more.

    Again, thanks.

  • youre awesome!

  • your gonna be big someday!

  • It truly baffles me why your videos aren't getting far more views, you do amazing work and provide many tips for people into terrain making yet you are such an untapped resource.

  • Thank you. I'm a big LOTR fan too. Visit the gallery on my site or on flickr.

I will probably do some LOTR terrain next. I was thinking of the Rohan area.

  • this is probably a dumb question but do u actualy play 40k ( not that u shouldent, but some ppl just do terrain for pleasure) and if u do, what army do u play? great job

  • I have LOTR and (Lizardmen) fantasy armies.

I was thinking on getting into 40k. Currently don't have anybody near here to play with either way.

I use to make terrain and sell it. I'm finding more pleasure in just showing how to make it though. These are really just examples and experiment pieces that I build on youTube.

  • Hail The Kamloopian most beneficent God-Emperor of Mankind!

Awsome building! I would love to see still picks of it.

  • That was about 300 minutes well spent. =]

Thanks for uploading this, looks great!

  • Congratulations on finishing it Steve. It looks awesome, thanks for the modeling tips. Im not into 40k but these tips are useful for other dioramas. Cheers.
