You obviously haven't been studying a lot kid. The combat armor soaking has always been there, but it haven't been included in the Hit markers. This is comon sense, you're saying armor wasnt protecting you before the soaking hit markers were released.

@FuckTheDoor Obviously my armor was protecting me but there wasn't any soaking, damage soaking has recently been added into the game. If there wasn't soaking before how come you could whip 470s in rune on rune? While the max now would be like 440 with +30 damage soaking. Lets say you were fighting someone in ahrims back before damage soaking, the max would have been around 650 since the rest would be soaked 130+. But you could hit as high with ags on ahrims as with ags on rune.

@FuckTheDoor Back when there wasn't any damage soaking for example with Chaotic maul you could easily hit 630s in rune on rune/ahrims/torags/dharoks. Now your max on rune would be like 600+35 soaking, ahrims 540+90 soaking, dharoks 580+63 soaking etc. If damage soaking was hidden before and we couldn't see it our max hits would be 600 on rune with the 35 soaking hidden or 540 on ahrims with the 90 soaking hidden. But it wasn't, you could hit 630 with maul on anything except if they had Ely/Div

In my opinion the only way to restore this is if jagex do this:

I think we all loved the fact we had a target well this is what they should do.

Bring back the target system after 1 hr and the drop system is kept same as now but with the target you have a chance of getting statuettes and pvp armour and weapons. this is not affected by any bull shit ep. Like this the economy will settle again for the pvp armour which is now too much overpriced. But jagex don't care about us only about money.
